How Qixi Festival is celebrated today

The celebration of Qixi Festival / Double Seventh Day nowadays:

The Qixi Festival or the Double Seventh Festival is a very romantic festival. It’s the most romantic of all traditional Chinese festivals, and since China's globalization known as "Chinese Valentine's Day". Nowadays people usually celebrate China's Valentine's Day by getting married, giving flowers, chocolates, and other presents to their romantic partners, instead of doing the traditional customs.

Magpie Bridge to visit:

On Tianzhu Mountain, located in Qianshan County of south-west Anhui Province, you can find the Magpie Bridge. When you have reached Datianmen, you can see Magpie Bridge right before your eyes. It is like an upright overpass crossing over the cliff and visitors can circle down along the stone steps under the bridge. It represents the bridge of magpies. The cowherd and the weaving maid meet on during the Qixi Festival (Double Seventh Festival or Chinese Valentine's Day).
